Moon Jellyfish Wet Specimen Globe

Moon Jellyfish Wet Specimen Globe

Approximately 3.5x2"

These are farm-raised moon jellyfish. These specimens were originally intended for use in school dissections; however, they were not considered "educational quality" and were instead preserved as wet specimens.

Based on supplier documentation maintained in our records, these specimens were produced through aquaculture and sourced outside of California harvest operations. They were not harvested from California waters and are not wild-collected specimens originating from the State of California.

Moon jellyfish are some of the most common and recognizable jellyfish in the world. With their translucent bodies and gentle, drifting movements, they almost look like they're floating through space. They're found in oceans around the globe and can often be identified by the four horseshoe-shaped rings visible through the center of their bell.
